Jaime Lauze´ (pronounced low-Zay) will tell you, “Giving in to despair is instinctive. Giving in to hope takes courage and faith.”
She knows. Though Jaime grew up in a prominent Christian family, (her grandfather was the evangelist Jack Wyrtzen and her mother is Christine Wyrtzen of Daughters of Promise), she was not insulated from pain.
Her adoption story has been the topic of many national radio and television programs over the years. God had His hand on her before she was born. He never removed it. But in His sovereignty, He destined her to walk through more dark times. All of this drove Jaime towards a gutsy faith. She is outspoken, warm, passionate, authentic, and articulate about the hope Jesus offers.
A professionally trained singer, Jaime reinforces each presentation with music. She is a communicator. Whether she sings or speaks, the hope Christ offers is a theme that compels and encourages women of all ages to trust Christ where they never have before, at the places of their deepest hurts.
Jaime is the co-host of the hour long radio program, Daughters of Promise At Night, in Athens, Georgia. It will be available this Fall for live streaming.
Themes in her speaking:
Anger
Abuse
Prayer
Hope
God’s Sovereignty
Forgiveness
